Every applicant for a Master’s programme must hold a Bachelor's degree and fulfil the programme-specific requirements. Please make sure that you meet the entrance requirements for the programme(s) of your choice. The entrance requirements for each programme is stated in the programme description supplied by each higher education institution, and also in your selection list at www.universityadmissions.se.
Applicants must prove proficiency in English. A high standard of spoken and written English is required. Language proficiency may be attested by scores in international English tests, such as TOEFL and IELTS certificates. See programme description for the required test results.
Master's, spring 2012
Semester starts January 2012
- 1 June 2011: Online service opens
- 15 August 2011: Admission application deadline
- 1 September 2011: Deadline for receipt of supporting academic documents (all applicants) and documentation of fee exempt status (if required)
- 1 September 2011: Deadline for receipt of application fee (if required)
- Middle of October: First Notification of Selection Results
- 31 October: Last date to reply to your offer
- First week in November: Second Notification of Selection Results (No reply required)
For students who are Swedish citizens the application deadline is 15 April 2011. However local rules may differ, please check with the Univeristy.
Master's, autumn 2012
Semester starts August 2012
- 1 December 2011: The entire catalog of courses and programmes published. Please note: Some universities will publish their courses and programmes for application on 17 October. If you can't find the courses and programmes for the university you're interested in, please wait until the entire course catalog is published on 1 December.
- 16 January 2012: Admission application deadline
- 1 February 2012: Deadline for receipt of supporting academic documents (all applicants) and documentation of fee exempt status (if required)
- 1 February 2012: Deadline for receipt of application fee (if required)
- Middle of March 2012: First Notification of Selection Results
