Mid Sweden University (MIUN) is characterised by its small size, permitting close contact between students, teachers, researchers and the community, combined with the educational variety and resources offered by a large higher education institution.
Every year students from all over the world come to study at Mid Sweden University, and we firmly believe that the international element of any education is a measure of quality. MIUN is a network university located in the geographical centre of Sweden, with campuses in three cities: Härnösand, Sundsvall and Östersund. We offer courses for international students at all three campuses.
As a university, we provide higher education of a high standard at undergraduate, post-graduate and research levels. We offer a wide range of course programmes in social sciences, behavioural sciences, media, nursing, teacher training, IT, natural sciences, technology and languages.
MIUN’s aim is to develop programmes with a distinct vocational orientation that interact closely with research and interdisciplinary studies. MIUN seeks to increase students’ contacts with potential employers during their education.
Dynamic and innovative thinking in research and undergraduate education, as well as in collaboration with the business sector, organisations and public bodies, is increasingly important.
